Currency and dates

1. Open Settings, then General.
2. Set Currency Symbol. Shops in Pakistan use PKR.
3. Set Date Format. The usual local choice is day/month/year.

The language list includes Urdu as coming soon. Leave it on English. The screens you document and train on are English.

Cost

Inventory Costing Method decides what happens to a product's cost.

• Fixed / Manual — cost changes only when you edit the product.
• Weighted Average — when you receive a purchase order, the cost updates from the old stock and the new rate. Wholesale shops whose purchase rate moves should use this.

The effect shows up on the next purchase receive, not on this screen. See Purchase orders.
