Backups

Daily copies, kept 30 days, plus an offsite copy. There is no backup button in the app.

You do not download a backup to a USB stick. InvUltra keeps the server copies.

  • A full server backup runs every day and is kept for 30 days.
  • The latest day is also stored offsite, away from the main server.
  • Database snapshots run through the day, about every 15 minutes, and those are stored offsite too.

The counter device is a second copy of the sales you rang while offline. They join the server when the network returns. See Sell without internet.

A simple on-screen card is optional. There is no backup screen. Photograph the dashboard and use the caption to say backups are server-side.
