Open POS from the header (Open POS) or the sidebar. The register must already be open.
Ring a sale
- Focus the search box. F2 jumps there. Type a name or scan a barcode.
- Add the child SKU for a size or color. The parent does not sit on the sell grid.
- Select a customer if this is on account. A cash walk-in can stay without one.
- Apply a line discount if you need one. A promo code is separate and needs internet. See Promotions.
- If the customer steps away, Hold the order, serve the next person, then resume the held order.
- Take payment: cash, card, bank, cheque, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or a split across methods. Store credit uses a sale return number. See Use a sale return on the next bill.
- Finish. An 80mm thermal receipt prints. You can reprint it from the sale.
Stock drops when the sale completes, even if the device is offline. The sale then waits in the sync queue. See Sell without internet.
