Promotions

1. Open Discounts.
2. Create a promotion: percentage, fixed amount, or buy X get Y. Set the dates it is valid and the code staff will type.
3. At POS, enter the code. The discount applies when the code is valid.
4. The check calls the server. Offline, the code will not apply. Sell without it, or wait for internet. Do not tell staff the code works offline.

A one-off line discount on the cart is not this code. That discount is typed on the sale. See POS checkout.
